At Auckland Hospital, asBuilt has conducted one of the largest digitisation capture projects in the country.

asBuilt were engaged to provide BIM Design documentation of all non-structural building service elements. This included extensive plantroom support and coordination for seismic analysis during construction.

Having an accurate digital replica of a hospital, accessibly stored for ongoing management and maintenance, solves many problems for busy healthcare workers.

Christchurch’s Regional Science and Innovation Centre at Canterbury University was a multi-year development with complex design and construction requirements as well as seismic strengthening challenges.

The Faculty of Engineering Building (Building 405) is the University of Auckland’s new engineering campus. It is a purpose built, 11 storey, 32,000 m2 building and a most complex services installation configuration.

The new Science Centre (Building 302) is a purpose built, 11 storey, 22,500m2 building. The existing building remained occupied during demolition and throughout construction, requiring intricate staging plans.

asBuilt established a central coordination and information platform to set up BIM procedures for the project lifecycle - concept, design, construct and handover.

As part of Auckland Airport’s 30-year development plan, asBuilt were tasked with creating an in-detail BIM model of the existing main terminal building, plus a survey control network over the whole airport wider campus.

asBuilt were engaged with in the project, due to their extensive knowledge of Digital Engineering (DE), Surveying and digital Common Data Environments (CDE) environments.

The Lincoln Road upgrade project, is one of Auckland Transport’s largest upgrade projects.

The Manilla Railway under-bridges are two heritage-listed railway bridges on the Country Regional Network located near the town of Manilla, NSW, Australia.

asBuilts role involved creating documentation which set the requirements for sub-contractors to
align to and perform Model QA checks to ensure the Airport would receive Models to
integrate with their Asset Information platforms.

Auckland Museum is constantly revitalising its spaces, providing additional galleries and exhibitions to create a world-class experience for visitors.

The Mason Brothers iconic building resides in Wynyard Quarter’s Innovation Precinct. Precinct Properties vision for this historic gem, was to transform it into 48,000m2 of uplifting, innovation office space.

asBuilt’s collaboration with Microsoft, Spark and construction company NZ Strong has resulted in the first ‘connected construction site’ in New Zealand.

When dirt was first turned, the NZICC was the largest vertical construction site in New Zealand. Two Eden Park grounds could fit into it – end-to-end. It is a complex building spread over 32,000m², designed to be an iconic, conference and event centre.

The Rotorua Museum, a category one heritage building, was closed in 2016 following a seismic assessment made after the Kaikoura earthquake.

How do you undertake preliminary works on a prison without physically doing time inside the prison? Answer: create a digital replica to work with instead.

asBuilt were approached by Fisher & Paykel Healthcare to create a show reel that could be used within the Immersion Lab to showcase their newest project, Daniel Building (Building 4).

asBuilt were approached by DreamSpace and Sotheby’s to help bring their luxury apartments to life in the Immersion Lab, a 360° immersive theatre.
