Auckland Museum is constantly revitalising its spaces, providing additional galleries and exhibitions to create a world-class experience for visitors.

The Mason Brothers iconic building resides in Wynyard Quarter’s Innovation Precinct. Precinct Properties vision for this historic gem, was to transform it into 48,000m2 of uplifting, innovation office space.

asBuilt’s collaboration with Microsoft, Spark and construction company NZ Strong has resulted in the first ‘connected construction site’ in New Zealand.

When dirt was first turned, the NZICC was the largest vertical construction site in New Zealand. Two Eden Park grounds could fit into it – end-to-end. It is a complex building spread over 32,000m², designed to be an iconic, conference and event centre.

The Rotorua Museum, a category one heritage building, was closed in 2016 following a seismic assessment made after the Kaikoura earthquake.
